Jonathan Westeinde,
CEO, Windmill Development Group
Jonathan is the co-founder of Windmill and is responsible for corporate strategy, finance, and business development and heads the executive management team. Prior to starting Windmill, Jonathan was a founding partner of Venbridge, the venture capital services division of Gowlings, one of Canada’s leading law firms. Previously, Jonathan was CEO and founder of LOSC, Inc. a Boston-based venture capital firm and had senior positions with Corel Corporation and Exocom Consulting. In addition, Jonathan has extensive experience in the real estate development industry in various leasing and financing positions.

Jamie James
VP Infrastructure, Windmill Development Group President, BuildGreen Consulting
Jamie develops alternative sustainable infrastructure projects for Windmill and client developers, primarily related to on-site energy generation and geoexchange systems. He also focuses on creating green building and technology financing instruments. Prior to joining Windmill, Jamie was the principal sustainability advisor to Tridel, Canada’s largest condominium developer, and contributed to the company’s transition to become a leading green builder.

Jeff Westeinde

Jeff is responsible for integrating the latest in
environmental remediation techniques into Windmill's development projects
and consulting work.
Jeff is a respected business leader in the environmental field in Canada,
and
sits on the Canadian Roundtable on the Environment. He retains ownership
in Quantum Environmental Group, the business he co- founded and grew
into a Canadian leader in hazardous material abatement, soil remediation
and
groundwater management. Jeff returned to the Westeinde Group in 2001
as COO, overseeing business development and operations of the construction
group.

Heather Cannon
Director, Property Management
Heather has been involved in real estate
development and management for over fifteen years as controller,
property manager and
V.P. Asset Management.
She has managed over two million square feet of office,
retail and government properties in Ontario and Atlantic
Canada
and has been
actively involved
in leasing her current portfolio. Heather's private
and public sector experience provides a unique perspective
and has proven
to be an
asset in dealing
with the challenges within the real estate development
and management sector. Heather currently sits on the
Government Affairs committee
of the Ottawa
BOMA Chapter and holds various volunteer positions
in the community.

Lindsay Cole
Director, Green Building Research
Lindsay has a wide range of experience
in the field of sustainable development, and is responsible for
researching and integrating
leading edge green
building technologies, products and strategies
into Windmill's projects. She has
worked on many green building consulting projects,
including the Vancouver Island Technology Park, assisting with
its certification as a Gold
level green building under the LEED program.
Lindsay is an active contributor to the non-profit sector,
and has
spent
a great deal
of her time volunteering
with various local, provincial, national and
international organizations. She has also worked on sustainability
assessment and reporting
projects, particularly in the education sector.

Emma Blakely
Special Projects Manager
Emma joined the Windmill Developments team in 2006, eagerly putting her office administration and organizational skills into practice. Over the past two years she has managed customer satisfaction at the Currents condominium project in Ottawa. Emma enjoys nurturing strong interpersonal relationships with clients and as well, working in an environment of continuous learning as she contributes to the strategic projects and important events of Windmill Development Group. She is presently engaged with the marketing of Windmill's newest venture into fractional cottage ownership at Whitewater Village. She is looking forward to obtaining her LEED accreditation in 2008.
